Joyce Meyer, she was born on June 4, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. She became famous when she became a Bible teacher and motivational speaker in late 1970s.
She had a brother, David. Their father fought in World War II. In her interviews she mentioned that upon return of her father from the war, her father began abusing her sexually. Then she attended the O’Fallon Technical High School and dropped her first name, Pauline.

In 1985, she formed her own ministry, Life in the Word, and her radio show began to air all over the Midwest.
In 1995, she began airing a weekly television show on WGN-TV and BET. In 2003, she and her husband, Dave Meyer, started a television ministry which still airs today, Enjoying Everyday Life.
In 2005, she got #17 rank among the list of “25 Most Influential Evangelicals in America” by TIME Magazine.
