Boris Becker was born on 22 November,1967 in Leimen, West Germany. Boris Becker was raised as a Catholic. Boris’ father founded a tennis centre in Leimen, and he subsequently learnt to play tennis in this facility. Boris was highly proficient at a very young age.

After turning pro in 1984, Boris Becker won his first professional doubles in 1984 itself. In 1985, Boris became the first unseeded player to win the Wimbledon singles title. A number of good wins followed, and Boris Becker defended his Wimbledon title in 1986 as well. Boris later established a strong rivalry with Stefan Edberg.

By the mid-90s, Boris’ financial and marital issues had begun to affect his career. By 1995, Boris Becker had retired after narrowly failing to win at the Monte Carlo Open.
